BCNet-AB is an economical Ethernet communication processor designed to meet the increasing informatization needs of factory equipment (equipment network monitoring and production management). It is used in Rockwell MicroLogix 1000/SLC500/PLC- The Ethernet data acquisition of 5 series PLC is very convenient to build a production management system.
BCNet-AB adopts a modular design with communication lines. It does not occupy the PLC programming port, that is, while the programming software/host computer software monitors the PLC data through the Ethernet, the touch screen can communicate with the PLC through the multiplexing interface X2.

BCNet-AB Features:

  1. Installed on a 35mm guide rail, the COM1 port is directly connected to the PLC programming communication port (DF1 protocol). BCNet-AB requires an external 24VDC power supply.
  2. Integrate WEB server, set device parameters and run diagnosis through webpage or search tool, and set login protection password to prevent tampering with configuration data.
  3. Self-adaptive to Rockwell PLC programming port communication parameters, no additional settings are required.
  4. Integrated ModbusTCP server, support FC1, FC2, FC3, FC5, FC6, FC16, Modbus data area is automatically mapped to the data area of ​​Rockwell PLC.
  5. Using ModbusTCP, it can realize high-level language (such as VB, VC, C#, etc.) programming, realize data communication with Rockwell PLC, and facilitate the development of production management system.
  6. The SCADA (upper configuration software) that supports OPC channel communicates with Rockwell PLC in OPC mode.
  7. Support up to 6 PCs to collect PLC data at the same time.
  8. Support firmware update on the user side through Ethernet, provide firmware with more functions for free, purchase hardware once, and upgrade permanently.
