BCNet-QnA is an economical Ethernet communication processor, which is designed to meet the increasing information requirements of factory equipment (equipment network monitoring and production management). The Ethernet data acquisition of QnA series PLC is very convenient to build a production management system.
BCNet-QnA adopts a modular design and does not occupy the PLC programming port, that is, while the programming software/host computer software monitors the PLC data through Ethernet, the touch screen can communicate with the PLC through the multiplexing interface X2.

BCNet-QnA features:

  1. Installed on a 35mm guide rail, the COM1 port is connected to the QnA programming communication port through a cable, and a COM2 port is extended for touch screen communication. BCNet-QnA can be connected to an external 24VDC power supply.
  2. Integrate a WEB server, through the web page, you can set device parameters and run diagnostics, and set a login protection password to prevent tampering with configuration data.
  3. The baud rate of the QnA programming communication port is automatically adjusted, which can meet the needs of large data communication.
  4. Realize Ethernet communication with MELSOFT products (GX Developer, etc.), and perform program read/write (including RUN write function)/comparison, programmable controller operation monitoring and other functions through Ethernet.
  5. Support MC (3E frame) Ethernet protocol (MELSEC Communication Protocol) communication, can read/write device data to the programmable controller through the host computer system, and select through the host computer software (KepWare OPC server, etc.) After Mitsubishi Ethernet driver, it is convenient and quick to access.
  6. Integrated ModbusTCP server, support FC1, FC2, FC3, FC5, FC15, FC6, FC16, Modbus data area is automatically mapped to QnA data area.
  7. By using MC communication protocol or ModbusTCP, programming in high-level languages ​​(such as VB, VC, C#, etc.) can be realized, and data communication with Mitsubishi QnA can be realized, which is convenient for the development of production management system.
  8. The SCADA (upper configuration software) supporting OPC channel communicates with QnA in OPC mode.
  9. MELSOFT, MC, ModbusTCP and BCNetTCP connection methods can be realized, allowing 6 PCs to collect PLC data at the same time, and the connection protocol method can be used arbitrarily.
  10. Support firmware update on the user side through Ethernet, provide firmware with more functions for free, purchase hardware once, and upgrade permanently.
