HJ32XX/HJ6300 series and S7-300/400 PLC use PROFINET networking
HJ32XX/HJ6300 Configuration
Configure the device name
The device name can only contain 26 letters (including upper and lower case), 10 numbers and underscores, and cannot use other special characters.

HJ32XX device PROFINET parameters
PROFINET parameters include COM port parameters and IO parameters:
COM port parameters contain COM attributes and MODBUS parameters
COM properties include COM type (RS232/RS485), COM port baud rate, data bits, stop bits, parity, sampling time and communication mode.
Note 1: The sampling time of the COM port is limited by the baud rate of the COM port, the number of MODBUS terminals connected to the COM port, etc.
If the set sampling time is less than the time spent, the HJ32XX will work in continuous sampling mode.
Note 2: The list of MODBUS terminals is distinguished by device ID, and different device IDs represent different MODBUS terminals. Only RS485 supports simultaneous access to multiple MODBUS terminals.

The IO parameters include the sampling interval (minimum 1MS) and the number of input and output (different HJ32XX devices, according to the actual device configuration). For example, HJ3204 has 16 digital inputs, 14 digital outputs and 4 analog inputs.

Generate GSDML file

The generated GSDML file is saved to the sub-file bluedatabase in the current path, which is required by Siemens software.
The generated GSDML file name format is as follows:

Contains the name of the device HJ3200 and the date it was generated, other parts are in a fixed format.
STEP7-V5.6 add GSDML file
HJ32XX and HJ6300 support Profinet V3.2 and above, and need to install STEP7-V5.6 and above software.

In the pop-up HW-Config window, select Options//Install GSD File menu

In the pop-up dialog box, select the path of the GSDML file just generated

Click the Install button to install the GSDML file.
Adding PROFINET devices to the project
Install the RACK-300//Rail rack into the blank (below)

Add CPU module to Rack 0 UR
The PLC I tested was 317-2 PN/DP, so I added the PLC to slot 2 of the rack, and a dialog box would pop up to set the IP address and Profinet information of the 300PLC.

Click the New button, click OK in the pop-up dialog box, and add a new Profinet bus.

The generated rack is as follows:

Configure IO devices to the Profinet bus:

Note that the GSDML installation paths for HJ6300 and HJ3200 are slightly different.
After installation, as follows:

If you need to modify the parameters, double-click the installed module, and in the pop-up dialog box, modify the device name to be consistent with the actual HJ32XX or HJ6300 name.
It is also possible to modify the IP address of the module
